What counts as usage?
Smithers meters the wall-clock execution time of programmable AI workflows running within our secure sandboxes. Using the CLI to submit to GitHub without triggering a workflow incurs no usage costs.
What happens when usage exceeds included credits?
If you're on the Team plan, you will automatically be billed $0.008 for each additional minute of workflow execution time. You can set up alerts in your Billing dashboard to monitor spikes.
Can I cap workflow usage to avoid surprise bills?
Yes. Organization admins can set hard runtime caps in the Billing dashboard. Workflows will pause or gracefully fail if the budget limit is surpassed during a cycle.
