Privacy Policy
Last updated May 3, 2026
Smithers provides developer tools for repositories, workflows, agents, and related collaboration features. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us about privacy questions.
Information We Collect
We collect account, authentication, repository, workflow, billing, and operational information needed to provide Smithers. This can include names, email addresses, usernames, OAuth account identifiers, SSH keys, repository metadata, workflow logs, usage events, support messages, billing status, and security audit records.
We do not intentionally collect secret values for display. Repository secrets are stored for authorized runtime use and are not returned in list views.
How We Use Information
- Provide, secure, operate, and improve Smithers.
- Authenticate users and enforce authorization, quotas, and abuse protections.
- Run repository, workflow, workspace, and agent features requested by users.
- Process billing, account administration, support, and service communications.
- Debug incidents, measure reliability, and satisfy legal or security obligations.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help operate Smithers, such as hosting, storage, observability, email, authentication, payment, and integration providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect Smithers and its users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or corporate transaction.
Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a developer platform, including encryption, access controls, audit logging, and separation of sensitive credentials.
Your Choices
You can update account information in Smithers where supported, disconnect integrations, delete sessions or tokens, and request account or data assistance. Some operational records may be retained where required for security, compliance, or legitimate business purposes.
