Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Smithers, including hosted services, APIs, command-line tools, integrations, workflows, workspaces, agents, and related websites. By using Smithers, you agree to these terms.
Accounts and Access
You are responsible for your account, credentials, tokens, SSH keys, and authorized users. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly revoke access that should no longer be active.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use Smithers to violate law, infringe rights, or compromise third-party systems.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, quotas, rate limits, billing controls, or security boundaries.
- Do not upload malware or run abusive workloads.
- Do not interfere with the availability or integrity of Smithers or other users' repositories and workloads.
Your Content
You retain ownership of repositories, code, workflow definitions, issues, comments, logs, and other content you provide. You grant Smithers the rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service and requested integrations.
Third-Party Services
Smithers can connect to services such as GitHub, Linear, payment processors, identity providers, and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and policies.
Billing
Paid plans, usage-based charges, invoices, trials, and renewals are presented during checkout or account administration. You authorize Smithers and its payment processors to charge applicable fees. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a written agreement.
Service Changes and Availability
Smithers may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Disclaimers and Liability
Smithers is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smithers disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid for Smithers during the twelve months before the claim.
